Get out

Others give up without

Much effort just doubt to justify the outcome

So what comes out?

Only what you put in throughout

Your travels through forked routes

Blind bends and dead ends

So do you make amends or sever ties?

Trust no one

Or trust that no one ever lies?

Do you run or try to overcome your biggest fears?

Do you make your presence known

Or simply fade and disappear?

I think the answer is clear

So many paths to choose and influence

Your life so reality and dreams are congruent

Or at least converging towards one another

So you can either make it happen

Or sit back and suffer

As you watch all the others

Make strides and accomplish

Whatever they wish

With confidence as their accomplice

Blame it on their arrogance

Pout and call them pompous

While you staple copies and bring coffee to their office

Regardless

Only you determine if your life is worth it

Dont compare it to a fictional standard of perfect

Cuz eventually the hidden defects will surface

And the ones who didn’t know will relieve you of service

Cuz theres a surplus of those living lies

Who look into the mirror and see all that they despise
