In a Sea of Mist - Karlahan

The view I see beyond this point

is shown as a solid stone,

but I am aware that despite its thickness

this mist is ephemeral, intangible, ethereal…

I am afraid to go into the cold sea,

afraid to break its subtile fragility.

I’m looking for myself inside this vast amount of quiet storm,

but there is just a huge wall of mist that blinds me.

A wall that obscures the panes enclosing my conscience,

a wall that catches with its landscape those who contemplate it.

And following the steps that have brought me up here

I dive into this sea that terrifies me.

Sooner or later I’ll find out the way home… My way home.
