Bird's Exile - Karlahan

Lost in myself I felt it slip away.

For so long chasing what couldn’t be achieved.

Gone, in front of my eyes.

Silent, for my ears.

Missing to my hands.

Present… still in my mind.

Wasting tears just to believe it could ever be undone.

The sorrow is real as well as the loss.

If only it could be undone,

tears wouldn’t have been in vane.

It’s so hard to face up this disturbing inner fight.

I felt it slip away and the feelings lost their way.

And at this point is when the weakest of lights shines as a thousand suns.

Hesitations flew away,

roots grew on the ground,

the peace long awaited came with this exile.

Should I really set my mind free?

I got the chance, but I’m afraid to be deceived.

And when your fears are swept away you find the essence of a new day.
