I found this cabin in the cold woods

Thought I’d make myself a home

A cozy shelter from the black wolves

So they won’t get my bones

From the far I hear them howling

A song of hunger and despair

With empty stomach they come crawling

To bring me my nightmares

I found this cabin in the cold woods

Thought that I could live inside

But all that ever moved there

Never made it out alive

Madness

Helpless

Endless

Distress

Lost in the woods so deep and cold

Where every child is growing old

They keep on pushing you inside

Try to hide

Inside this house of rotten trees

I hold and orchid close to me

Beautifully innocent of love

Unaware of fear
