Lights out, blinded sight, Lost in the black tonight

We’re closing in upon the edge of everlasting life

Eyes open, fingers crossed, stuck in the afterthought

An open door I knew I’d curse among the life I lost

But, aftr the storm you’ll see how you were so dceiving

Logic beckoned to my surprise and I was paralyzed

Nighttime fell at last, highways ablaze in ashes

Emerging guilt beyond a doubt of your elastic cry

Sky blue pacific eyes, trying too hard to find

Another reason to be close as everybody liked

An obsession with power
