Someone’s home

Shadows behind windows

What lies behind these doors

She does watercolors

And he paints cars

One day she drove out of town

Drove the car straight and true

Went as far east as she could get

Figured by them

She’d know what to do

When she got to the waters edge

Thought about where she’d been

Wondered what was left to see

Stepped right up and dove right in

She was never seen on land again

They say she lives in the sea instead

Happy in its blue embrace
