Gleam from the pages

Like jewels of ages

Passed down to me

They’re shining

Gold around the diamond

A slow spell

Cast on the evening

By sunlight diving

Into the sea

A shimmer

Coming off the water

Leaps against the lee

Its glimmer

Ornaments the hour

Here along the shoreline

Pages stir the sand
