When cuts are deep the scars will stay

I guess my mind’s too far away

A plastic smile is all it takes

The feeling sticks and just might stay

So I save the day for another catastrophe!

I guess nothing ever made much sense to me

A few more drinks and I show you catastrophes

If you buy these words I’ll take you all down with me

I never learned to learn from mistakes

Faking a smile is all it takes

I count to ten and take that pill

Just another day I have to kill

I guess I smile because I’m happy to live with nothingness
