Long ago this kingdom was peaceful and content

Now there is death everywhere, plague in the air

Maidens, children, and priests none are spared

Why our neighboring rivals not suffering the same cursed affair

Hold the cure they do but share it with others they rue

Sent to plead for aid our envoy struck down from behind

Villainy and strife burn in their hearts

As we cry for mercy they yell charge

Yearning, through dessert sun the horses have died

Despair, brothers turn their backs abandoning the cause

Realization, is all hope lost?
