Unknowing I go on

Surrounded by all

My fall will not be here

My most treasured possession

A part of me left behind

Panic grabs me, pulls me close

Whispers in my ear

I’ll never let go

Can anybody hear me?

Destined to roam

In this hell of a home

Portraits on oil upon the wall

Save me from desperation

Crystal clear, I see the light

But it isn’t here

It’s not anywhere

Reel me in, I come alive

Illuminates my eyes

Can it be, I feel the fear

And so it becomes clear

It’s here everywhere
