Tomorrow - The Skints

These days I seem to think a lot about the way I’m living

Not trying as hard as I should and being less forgiving

I know I shouldn’t hurt myself for the errors that I make

But when you’re alone self-destruction seems the only way

So then I got to thinking about my mortality

About how fragile and fleeting this life I have ahead of me

Regret is not a friend I wish to keep, I know my enemies

They’re working from the inside trying to take the best of me

We’ve got to keep our heads screwed on for hope of getting through another day

As time goes on it won’t be long until we’ve found the way and carried on, so

Don’t you worry about tomorrow because tomorrow won’t be worrying about you

I know that nothing is guaranteed and that life won’t wait and that time won’t

cease

So I try get by with a vibrant mindset, finding the time with my inner peace

And the fact that I’m trapped in a land, unmapped, on the tracks of a train and

I just can’t see

How preparing the brain’s gonna tame the future

«Que sera, what will be, will be»

But I felt that pain in my heart when Ken died

Know that I carry it with me daily

We’ve all lost loved ones, I gues that’s life right?

Seems like my life might try and break me

Tomorrow’s a heartless guy and I highlight

A promise to no one, gets all crazy

Don’t watch tomorrow cos he don’t love you

Just make sure you’re cool today see

Trust me
