Right now I think it’s dip twist

Lick the center and discard the rest

In this new age misinform me from the screen

If I could overcome this apathy

Then I think I’d read

I think I’d speak

And maybe cut the leash

From this carcass that’s been dragging us under the sea

It didn’t cost much I spent the rest to cover my skin

With the sweat of a starving child

Who works so I can fit in

I wear it proud but within
