The ShadowWalker - The Monocles

Now left to drive and explore to find that wanderer

Onward to the house where I was raised

Left to think of her troubles, and ponder his death

Where have they gone?

Where did that shadow travel, and whose force did it carry?

Are you up on that pedestal, or out at the cemetery?

Could you be levitating through this atmosphere

Just as I begin to unhinge, the shadow asks

«Do you want me to help you steer?»

Old friend you’ve startled me so

But I would like to know, just where you had fled?

«I took a quick trip up to the clouds to see what it’ll be like when you meet

me there

But now is not that time, so I went to look down on his grave to simply think

about life and what I need.

Port Angeles is where I need to be to find my peace,

and I’d love it if you’d come with me.

We’ll live out on the water,

and have a mountain backdrop, that I know you’d love to see.

But I dont think

that this could come to be.

I just don’t have the funds, nothing ever works out,

and nearly everyone I know, they’ve all abandoned me.

It’s happened so

frequently that I’ve come to expect it;

I think that I’m a disease,

and now I’m stuck here missing the opportunity…
