I saw the bloodline on his face

A different story than the one I heard before

His head was rising in the rain again

Staring at the sky and wondering where to go

This last delusion made a stand

The way to salvation lies within his hollow grief

Sounds from the river made its way

Through portraits of fear and his matter of decay

A punch in your face, a knife in your soul

Since it’s already there, come and twist it once again

Nothing seems to echo anymore

Thought I heard my scream and people dance on my dream

Come light up the storm

Wash away the pain just for one day
