Here she comes walking down the street

High-heeled shoes and her miniskirt

And her heat

It’s a summer’s day in London

All the kids are out on the street

It’s too hot, it’s too hot

Meanwhile back up Shady Alley

Cats and dogs can barely breathe

The sky is golden

That air is molten

The tar is bubbling up beneath your feet

Ice cream music in the park

Ice cream melting in the park

You buy your ice cream

And you eat your ice cream

And the day moves on

Like in a passing dream

You walk on down

You hit the bar

Inside the bar are the guys talking to the girls

The girls have nothing on and you can see the world

You say «Oh my God, amen

On days like this it’s good to be a man»

And the summer keeps on coming

And the heat keeps swirling 'round

And suddenly the sun in its floating sky

Drops just as quick to cooling night

You wanna hear the heat?
