I shoot you so you shoot me

we put down our guns and freeze

we just need attention constantly

and you don’t know how far I’ve been

in your head and out again

I’m dying for a light

judgment comes in different guises

watching every breath that rises up

and I see what the neighbors see

we’ve become our own TV

cancelling our shows for snow

because deep inside the sacred spire

i hold onto love’s desire

and I don’t ever think I’ll let go

Christ I hate when people blaspheme

sitting ducks and human cattlefeed

help me now I think Im falling out of grace and into holy vice

and it’s not up to me to say

we’re not here, so what remains?

when all the space we’ve taken up is gone?
