Idle Hands - Stop Light Observations

I felt a wave

of such tremendous shame

stirring up my brain

and now its pouring out my ears

out my ears

I guess I need to sleep

its been about a week

its mixing up my dreams

and now they happen in the day

in the day

the devil’s yanking my chain

this fever

gets sweaty

my temperature is steady but

in my head I’m dying

well I cant write what im not saying

I’d dropped this wasted time and pick up something else

deep within my mind

theres something on the vine

a song that I can write

that isn’t full of shame

just put the bottle down
