Blue sky

Rivers running by

You, and me

So close in what we see

Is my head in the clouds

Are my feet off the ground

Life is good life is sweet

Here for a moment then it’s complete

Walking up the muddy pathway

Through the hedges you show me

Your favourite tree

I see the hills I see the dales

Autumn leaves in the sun

This is a wonderful place

This is a wonderful time

Planning a picnic in the summer

By the river

In the meadow

In the sun

I hear the lark in the sky

I see the deer I hear the owl

Canadian geese flying in

We wonder where the eagle has been

You and me

So close in what we see

Is this Heaven around us

Is it Hell just inside us

Is my imagination leading me

To create the world or is it real

I’m not sure

I don’t know

Who can tell
