Only some chemical things

And yet, it feels like heaven

As I quit human being

So I can rest in your haven

I will still keep on going

So no farewell’s ever bidden

But someday our chemistry

Will come to expiration

And I hope that we will be

Strong enough for our bastion

That our infatuation

Will survive the world outside

From a juvenile passion

To a love that will abide
