So many times that I’ve been wondering, running with the best

What would it be like to be me if I wasn’t so blessed

I thank god every day, and give praise to my peers

Try to keep the demons at a distance, and family near

I had thoughts that wouldn’t leave me be but always there to see me

But I’m not needy and I’m not greedy

I try to get rid of my knots and let my spot free me

And i wanna be able to look behind scenes of the world without the help of a TV

Looking for a path to redemption

Hoping that I’ll finally be free just like an intervention
