The empty rooms that we filled with life

Nervous kids just up to strife

As the new year struck

I felt I’d waited long enough

And in I dove

Stand and wait hallucinate

The brighter side Appreciate

So many things to say

Our jaws just won’t keep up

As the hairs on my skin arose

I felt my brain erupt

You took my hand

We ran away Into the vibrant night

You striped me back

You took me bare

It all just felt so right
