Treebird - Sky Architect

Rotting flesh from under my feet

This journey has no end

It knows my pain, though still incomplete

Spreads a numbness through my eyes

I want to hide but that’ll plant a seed

A seed that grows and grows

Entangling me with every heartbeat

Longing for their homes

Sunlight on my skin

Sensation of a million dragonflies

Lifting me up

Through the clouds
