I have a new year to live

I have many choices to make

I’ve got a new hole to clean up

To tidy up

To fill up

But I still do not have.

A fertile land among this sand

Inviolate source

A blameless soul

Please help me

Don’t leave me now!

From my place I’m learning to bear

But the weight of the pain could also crush

All the love of my being

All the dreams that I’ve never had

All the warmth of my being

All the kind words I’v never said to anyone

I have much time to spend

I have many defects to mend

I’ve got the last key to go in

To watch within

To persuade

But I still do not have.
