Life is hard for the traveling magician

A show pony, that is your big ambition

Bits are low, and times are tough

leave for Ponyville and just make enough

So you find, an easy crowd

Time for setup, and think out loud.

As nervous as you are, you find all your strength

your small lies can take you to great lengths

Suddenly, a pegasus mocks you

keep calm Trixie, just keep your cool.

Hecklers won’t want to take you down

when you turn that frown of theirs upside down.

Show them that you want your way (even if it kills you)

Make yourself that shooting star (the stars will help and guide you)

The only way to make them pay (the ones that want to stop you)

is to show them you’re the star (of this bright and summer day).
