Naked I stand

before your throne.

Truth is my shield.

For what I’ve done, I’m prepared to atone.

Gentle hands of the blind

sense the shifting of the scale

I trust you will hear every false note in their pretty tale.

Lust came with dusk.

Shame came with dawn.

She was my queen,

but onto her I was only a pawn.

Hollow men would regret

I won’t cry and I won’t plead.

A warrior forever, I’ll never be frightened to bleed.

Justice, you have heard me calling.

Justice, as your sword is falling,

those concealed behind their lies

will soon be marked for sacrifice.
