I’m haunted as history comes and culminates

We’re fed the things we’re taught to hate

Unwanted, the paths they carve to take us there

Is all politics and disrepair

I’ve seen it

We’ve grown accustomed to these stones

But life is more than shadow shows

I’m over it

It’s darker when the fire dies

But only covered by your eyes

It’s not too late

I’ll dig a hole or run away

Anything but what they say

The closest of calls, are we living too fast?

We built from the ground with the answers we have

We’re half sunk in mud, are we stuck in the past?

We’re still looking for signs, we’re still following maps
