Behind Bars - Salvation

Whom will he plead

For mortality to end a curse?

A border which behind stand

All who know remorse

Fathers of darkness crowned him

Declared his destiny and will

God wished his anger extreme

Estranging his soul from all we feel

What has god created

That ended the way he meant

If purity grew evil

A mocking bird will sing

Behind bars of a cage so bent

Emotions reaching out

From her gaze at the stars

But cupid denied her heart

Left her naked of desires

Love challenged a tyrant cruelty

To utter a sign, a cry of pain

When he answered her prayers

To become one among his children

Lured by tears he bled inside

Heaven was aroused by whimpers

Cries so deafening and loud

What has god created

That ended the way he meant

A mocking bird will sing

Behind bars of a cage so bent

The flames of hell composed

A symphony for all to hear

Divinity, forlorn, watch opposed

Yet muting, frozen in fear

They rose like the moon and sun in eclipse

Driven by passion she longed for the touch of his lips
