Purgatory -

So wretched this place

Unsightly figures obey only transcendental senses

Where?

Where ends this maze?

This maze grandiose?

Abandonment makes not these walls less malevolent

Their muted laughters are insanity

The ouroboros that is my trail

Never ending as the corridor bends me back to sinister initiate

Nigh!

Nigh is the point lunacy devours cognition

Timely, right to its undoing

I cannot feel my outer organ as it’s wrapped in winter’s cloth

And I am lost to the will of these walls

There!

That sound

Bleeding through the walls like fresh spilled wine

It is that voice of which I came dying to audiate my name

I activate the sphere

Slicing though the cavernous steel

I percieve the sound growing near

Alas!

Behold

No!

That was her voice!

Damn this devilish tomb

But from the shudder-some dark

A form quivers forth

A soft grasp on my hand fires chills to my spine

As I peer through the metallic dust in the air to see my violator
