My life, I won’t let go

Growing up, different phases

I never felt I belong

All I knew was, it’s not easy

To go against the grain

I have to make my path on my own

I say no one can tell me what to do

The pain and the glory will be mine

At least I can say I have tried

Seek my freedom, make it real

Sitting, waiting, it’s just in vain

It won’t happen if I don’t fight

Always got to prove them wrong

Destroy the social pressure

To know I must take control

To be who they want me to be
