Standing beneath delinquent shadows

One man aspires to bring me down

Pail trails of smoke dance as he passes

And I am suffocating now

Perception changes now we’re falling

What once seemed close is now so far

Incessant taunting of the senses

I yearn to finally kiss the ground

It’s not fair

It’s not right

They plague me

Through the night

When everything seems so faint
