Fading colors, withering blue

Sour emotions, vanishing views

Walls around crumbling down, down along the line

We run around in circles

A thousand memories gone with a breeze

Troubled faces come back to me

Though the times change you stay the same, casting off the blame

And not a word was spoken oh no Only silence

Only silence and our penniless dreams, in a darkened room

And over mountains rivers and trees still the flowers bloom

But here the walls keep crumbling down, down along the line

And you just stand there waiting for a sign

And still the words escape me
