Once I can reach what I long for

I crossed the road — I’m safe on the other side

You held me back — you must admit it

You always told me that I wasn’t worth that much

To enter the right minds

Bewinged in the rain, like in a cage

I am trapped as the strong wind flies

And when the stars won’t shine for us

Then what’s to gain?

My binoculars aiming at the new horizon

The distance is a way of wisdom

A life with feet soaked with concrete

I was stolen and robbed from getting a free seat

This is becoming the best escape

Pity this might just be to late
