Little Ark - Playwrite

I went downtown to the river where the road had been

People rowing past in little cars that had their windows down

I said I guess this is what you get for building in a river bed

No one turned to look at me, no one sees what they don’t believe

I’ve never wanted to run away more than I did the day

I found no one cares about polar bears

I guess you can’t believe in things you never see

So what hope we got for our little ark

I took my little tin where I been keeping all my things

Down to see a little man exchange them all for other things

Said I’d never have enough to get all of the things I want

Market changed and what you got isn’t worth what it was
