Transcendence -

This is my confession to a crime I’ve yet to commit.

I hear the warnings, the ocean will swallow me.

Drifting, between these choices.

If I say that I really love you, will it change anything between us?

Thoughts never resting, endlessly floating,

mind always drifting, your image never fades away.

This is my confession.

Eradicate the voices speaking within,

eliminate the fear that poisons your mind.

Remove all groundless doubt for this feeling inside,

and understand that love scales not with time.

Can you see the stars glow brighter?

Can you feel the night grow cold?

Like the sharpest razor, your smile cut through my wrists.

I’ll keep bleeding love into your perfect soul.

Take what you want from me,

That’s all I want to be.

Your grip upon my heart,

Remains eternally.
