The autumn mist

Covers the meadows

Like a beautiful veil

The sun breaking through

Painting yellow flowers

On lines of grey

The grass is wet

Manna from heaven

On dark green blades

Leafs are falling

Floating to the ground

Deep orange shades

As I walk beneath the trees

Past the mumbling river

I breath in cold air

It’s a morning like this

When I can lose myself

Just being here

In the amber sky

Birds are winging

Towards their home

Clouds in the distance

Tell already

Of coming snow

The world gets slower

In the autumn air

The land takes a rest

The sun gets colder

Covered by clouds

Holding her breath

As I walk beneath the trees

Past the mumbling river

I breath in cold air

It’s a morning like this

When I can lose myself

Just being here

I’ll leave some footprints for some days

Until the rain will wash them away

Until the wind will blow them away
