Lie still now as black sky departs

And the far winds howl

Lie as fangs tear your life apart

Even lifeless sleep can’t own

In a thick mist of eyes growing dim

I’ve since taken my part

Passing thoughts of a forgotten sin

No name nor words make it afar

What can’t be told to the night

A ghostly past that chills our spines
