The gears no longer grind

We could wait

All paranoid

Who has the time?

We could watch

The world around us

Pass us on our porch

Or we could cause

A small explosion

Just under the floor

Blood pact, no liars

There are roots

They complicate things

There’s others to appease

Could take them with us
