In the middle of the journey,

I came to myself.

In the dark forest,

Where the strange word was lost,

Where the true word no longer might be seen,

I find myself within a shirey wood.

Where the straight cast is lost in tangled ways —

in darkness.

Where the right path which guided me was lost.

I lost astray a narrow path to stray,
