was waiting for the stars to fall and burn me off the planet

The house it shakes and creaks with fear

The fear this time we’ve really had it

But for all those dreamy hours the stars still seem just as far

And no matter how you wish they stay exactly where they are

So I stay in my tomb

In the gathering gloom
