Well I could see the storm a’comin

A’comin from miles away

I accidentally bit your lip

And the blood made it’s display

Like black clouds and lightnin

Like thunder and rain

Well I could taste the blood all right

But I couldn’t feel the pain

The weatherman was wrong

Well he said the storm would pass before too long

Yea but when two fronts like us collide

There’s just no telling when or if the storm will ever subside

Well you spew and spit as I sit and sigh and shift

As you cry and fall apart

And I slither away like the snake I am

Sneaky snake with an icey heart

Well you know that out here on the prarie

Dreams are made of sod

When those black clouds come rollin in

They can turn your dreams to mud
