there’s a hundred miles to go,

do you remember what we’re runnin' for?

and now we cut back through the night like there’s no-one else alive,

shiny eyes and pretty dreams,

round in circles, blown in the wind,

riding the ripples of some yesterday,

and now however close we seem, there’s still an ocean in between,

only the dark knows where we are.

blurring headlights flash on by,
