When the sun goes down

I just stare at the wall

And my thoughts get deep

I just pace around

Chain smoke it off

As the worrys creep

I try to act tough

But my head calls the bluff

The house shows a flush

The whole things a bust

My cup starts to flood

And it all keeps rackin up

But I still bleed what I love

And the devil smells blood

I’ve been tossin and a turnin

In the night I’m feelin somethin that’s atypical

I take look behind the curtain

But I’m certain that thing is just invisible

So I just keep workin and a workin

Workin so damn hard youd think its criminal

And you might think its concernin

But you know I swear to God that its medicinal

I get on my knees and pray

God give me the strength

Cause I don’t know how much more I can take
