They may have ten walls

But i have four

Theirs might be silver

But mine are tall

They may be cardboard

But they are strong

They hold us together

When our days are long

Let’s play house

Start from the ground

Then slowly build it up

Might not be much

But is everything to us!

Smooth are the crinkles

Lay the pages down with pride

Newspaper houses

But at least

I’ll call them mine

Take from your pocket

All you own and lay it down

Crinkled notes and chocolate pennies
