I see something

It’s lying down

Am I dreaming?

Looks like a man

Once upon a time at dawn

A man left a dream so wild

When a quiet call was sounded

An Angel’s voice, it was the child

Offering him a piece of chalk

Whilst asking with a tender look

Inviting him to come and walk

He asked again and showed a book

Design for me a companion

Design for me a whole new world

Take my chalk brush and reconstruct

Invent for me all things forever lost

But the man was full of fear

There was nothing he used to do

Except to haze and to kill here

He didn’t know what else to do

Take my book or this piece of slate

Draw or write

Please do something for me

Drop your weapon

And come with me

Don’t let me down

I want to see
