So the oceans dried up

Deserted, barren and empty

But his tears flooded the seas

So the storms passed

Into a blue sky

But a wounded heart made the lightning cry

Won’t his suffering ever end?

Isn’t there a light around the bend?

And all the fires in the world

Became chilled, soothing rain

But his bitter rage

Burnt the water into flames

What power had he wronged?

This burden to bear

What curse was incurred?

(his soul spurned)

While no one cared

The depression of the masses faded to respite and smiles

Yet emptiness and loathing filled him all of the while

Empty.
