Raven Calls - In Battle

Wotan arrives on the raven’s call

All around me slaughter, the bravest fall

Blood drains from my weary bones

In battle I will stand.

Would that I, o valfather

Be found to wait when heimdall calls

Freya rides from asgard far

Take me to the heroes' hail

Sword I swing and spear I thrust

Ever fighting for folk, I must

Grind your teeth and bite your shield

No enemies longer will walk the field

Bleeding and coughing, I did my deed

As life drains free like tears of man

Be found to fight when heimdal falls

Be found to wait when heimdall calls.

To thy battle of greater fields.

To see eye to eye, the heroes of old

To know that I am counted bold
