This Distance - Imperative Reaction

I’m struggling for a reason

An answer to all that made it seem

This lie was fading

And my silence had come to an end

Too far to feel but I’m on my way

I see this reflection everyday

It’s not enough but I still remember

It’s frozen in time

And if the walls won’t fall

Distance is all I have

I’ll have to find a way

To push these things aside

Through the maze of the past

I can’t forget what I am

I only hope this fades

In the years to come

Struggling for an answer
