It’s been a long year, sorry for the wait

Got a long list of regrets but I’m learning from my mistakes

Ash trays and empty Red Bull cans fill up the studio

The life I live has got me headed towards an early funeral

Feel like I’m slowly losing sight

But I’m still feeling better than I ever did when I ain’t had nothing

My mom called me cause she say I don’t come home enough

My friends hit me up cause they see I ain’t going out as much

I drived out and moved away to support a dream

Now the only time they ever see me’s in these magazines

But I hope they know the reason for me leaving

Is bigger than all these women and going out every evening

Sitting in a hotel in Toledo as I write

Only thirty people came out to the show tonight

And that shit it checked my ego and brought me down a couple notches

I think it’s my time, must be looking at broken watches

Something I never felt before

Just cause nobody else believed

People always rushing to tell you what you can’t achieve

But I just want to show the world all the things that I see in me

They say that everything takes time and that’s true

Trying to be realistic while having a dreamer’s point of view

And it’s hard, but nothing worth having ever comes easy

Keep thinking that since I’m gone the ones I have are gonna leave me for real

Cause I feel like I’m losing the ones that I love

And the only question I have is if it’s worth it

I know I’m not perfect, but if there’s something that I do know

It’s that I give it my all and look, I truly do deserve this

Whether if it’s your love, or whether it’s your listen

I promise I ain’t gonna let you down

I know my past is rough, but if I really have your trust

Then trust that everything will be better this time around
