Now the current is too strong for you to swim

An overdose in the undertow

Sitting up and looking down

As your eyes reappear

Re-scan the page, a familiar shape

A tilt, a taste, elixir

This is no accident

This is no great mistake

Born to fight it

So as a personal favour

And where at least we’re able

Try to fight this
