Days are slowing down and I’m awakening

The thunder in the ground to say my name

Watching as the blue in the sky turns into grey

Something in the spring took my breath and ran away

I have been wanting something to change the way I see this life

Then I could live with some kind of confidence

I wish I could step out of this world

And find something to trust on the other side

I’d come back when I feel stranger still

Every thought immersed goes to try me

I dreamt this kind of curse knows an end

Call the way I break every time I feel alone

Smoke has held my eyes longer than I could have known
